A Glimpse of Bangga sa Sinulog sa Kabataan 2010

January 4, 2010

Abellana National School Contingent

Almost 23 contingents from different schools and barangays are already confirmed that they will be joining in Bangga sa Sinulog sa Kabataan 2010 this coming January 10, 2010 (Sinulog Kabataan sa Dakbayan) and January 11, 2010 (Sinulog Kabataan sa Lalawigan). Sinulog is in the air, almost street stores and malls are already playing the sinulog festival music - a way to attract foreign tourist customers. Since, I was not able to get a copy for the final list of the contingents, I am expecting that previous winners of Sinulog Kabataan will joined and defend their crown again. Last year Sinulog Kabataan sa Lalawigan Winners are from Pajo Elementary School and Carcar National Highschool while Sinulog Kabataan sa Dakbayan are from Lahug Elementary School and Don Sergio Osmeña National Highschool.

Cordova Dinagat-Bakasi Festival

I already see the dance and concept of Cordova Dinagat-Bakasi Festival, a free interpretation category and Abellana National HS contingent, a sinulog based category. Both are the best - cute children from Cordova while nice move from Abellana.

Bangka Props from anonymous contingents

Be there at Cebu City Sports Complex to witness all the colors of contingents, January 10 - Sinulog Kabataan sa Dakbayan 2pm - start of the parade from Plaza Indepencia to Cebu City Sports Complex and January 11 - Sinulog Kabataan sa Lalawigan 2pm - start of the parade from Cebu Provincial Capitol Cebu City Sports Complex.

Last November 8, 2009 - my first time to visit and explore Maribago Blue Water Resort - we are just 4 bloggers namely: aika, jim and mark - who granted by PinoyWorld.com - to have a Sunday by the Beach in Maribago Blue Water Resort. A big thank you to Mr. Ruben Licera of PinoyWorld.org - for giving us a BIG reward - a chance to feel the cool place, enjoy and relax. Thank you also to Ms. Noreen D. Yuson - Guest Service Officer of the resort - who accompanied us in the area, giving instructions on what to do and to feel at home while on the resort. Also, the chief officer and csu officer (i forgot the names.. :D) who definitely entertains us while waiting Aika and Jim. (",)..

I had really enjoy the foods especially the shrimp and squids which is mao akong getirada..ehehe i love the taste of their seafoods, so yummy and yummy. :D the personal halo halo making, the sorbetes ice cream, the appetizer, drinks, and lot more. This is what you called a Sunday Family Picnic with Lunch Buffet for only 700php.

Since it was my first time - every moment we walk and find a nice spots in resort, we can't control hands while holding our cams just to take some photos. (naihas ko.. ehehe.. :D)

After we had our breath taking suroy suroy sa resort and have lunch, ofcourse its pool time... but no diving in pool because it is only 5ft to 4th deep water.

We really had fun at Maribago Blue Water Resort. Everything is cool and fun. I recommend Maribago Blue Water Resort as the best tourist spot in Buyong, Maribago, Mactan Island Lapu Lapu City and the best place where you can set your body relax and feel the freshness of air and the warmth of the sea.

Thank you Maribago Blue Water Resort. Till Next Time of Escapade!!

Maribago Blue Water for the first time.

October 23, 2009

Photo from Pinoyworld.org
When I read the post of http://pinoyworld.org that they are inviting bloggers all over the Philippines to enjoy the white sands, I was amazed and feel excited because this is my first time (hopefully..) to visit and experience the explorations at Maribago Blue Water. Since, my semestral break is started, I wanna hug this Tropical Island where I'm going to be relax, enjoy, foods and have fun. I also wanted to grab the experience as what Cebu Bloggers Society experience during their tour in Maribago Blue Water.

Mark Monta - I was overwhelmed with their staffs and amenities, i missed their delicious foods and of course i want to avail their AMUMA SPA.

Mikyu Maglasang - the white sand beach, sumptuous food, nice view, and the cool feel of the place.

Mark Gallardo - Very relaxing rooms (royal bungalows, amuma spa suites, deluxe rooms…)

A place where everything is so cool!!

Hopefully I can go there this coming November 8, 2009 and also a big opportunity for me to meet my fellow bloggers specially the CBS family and Mr. Ruben Licera.

It was a heat enjoyment when I was first witnessed the 2nd Pasigarbo Sa Sugbo which held at CICC (Cebu International Convention Center in Mandaue Cebu City). With me are my colleges friends who also wanted to see the grandest fiesta in Cebu Province. We arrived at CICC around 12pm and while waiting for the street dancing showdown we took some pictures inside the CICC building which there are some exhibitors of One Cebu Expo. First and foremost I have to meet byahilo.com or Sir. Enrico Dee (para ila-ila..hehehe) but sadly wala me mag meet sayang... eheheh..

wattah smile of similia and me...ehehhe
Aside from that, when the street dancing start to begin at around 1pm outside the Mandaue City Hall, I prepared my self taking some pictures using my borrowed digital cam in the main entrance of all contingents participants and ended around 3hrs because my borrowed digital cam is down, no back up battery..heheheh..
