Fiesta in Alcantara Cebu

The smallest town of Cebu in terms of area, Alcantara Cebu will celebrate its annual fiesta in honor to St. Augustine this coming August 29, 2009.

Mayor Benlo Lobitaña of Alcantara Cebu is the honorary chairman of the Fiesta Committee and one who worked forced for the fiesta in coordination of the members of Sangguniang Bayan in the town.

In fact, the fiesta celebration is for Bahandi Festival 2009. I recently called up to the tourism office of Alcantara Cebu to confirmed if there will be a festival, and sadly said that they skip this year Bahandi Festival 2009... but the good news is!!! the big fiesta of the town is continue to celebrate!!!
